Today's society is characterized by the increasing presence of science and technology, so students of the technological era demand from the school a new teaching space, a space in which they can and are able to infer, modify and produce. The use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICTs) in teaching plays an important role. From this perspective, this work aimed to produce a class manual, using the Molecular Evolutionary Genetics Analysis (MEGA) software, as a didactic support resource for biology classes. The methodology was divided into three stages: 1st – bibliographic survey; 2nd – lesson planning; and 3rd – elaboration of the manual. That resulted in a manual with 25 pages, entitled MEGA Molecular Evolutionary Genetics Analysis: a pedagogical tool, in PDF format, divided into 5 chapters according to an investigative teaching perspective. The sequence of chapters and the chaining of ideas were constructed in such a way as to function as a suggestion of how the classes could be taught, and can be applied to carry out simple analyzes both in schools with few or many technological resources. It is concluded that the material can be used in high school biology classes, from which teachers interested in inserting the tool will have adequate support and that further studies will be carried out demonstrating the application of the manual in the classroom.
