This article aimed to explore the effectiveness of active teaching methodology, specifically the flipped classroom, in the training of teacher candidates at IFMT – Campus Confresa. To assess the effectiveness of the methodology, an online questionnaire with closed and open-ended questions was used. Data were collected from students from different teaching degrees, ensuring anonymity and voluntary participation. The results, analyzed qualitatively, showed that the methodology significantly increased students' interest and engagement. The analysis of the questionnaire responses revealed improvements in learning and participation, with most students recognizing an increase in motivation and active involvement in the didactics course. The students also identified challenges, such as adapting to intensive reading and participating in debates, reflecting a more active and participatory educational transition.
