DIDACTIC SEQUENCE PROPOSAL CONCERNING BEES PRESERVATION USING THE APPROACH SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIETY AND THE DIDACTIC SITUATION THEORY BY GUY BROUSSEAU

Aiming to propose a Didactic Sequence (DS) guided by the didactic moments discussed by Zabala (1998) and the Theory of Didactic Situations (TSD) discussed by Guy Brousseau (1986) with a STS (Science, Technology and Society) focus, this study uses an interdisciplinary approach and is based on real everyday situations, contextualizing concepts of physics, chemistry, and biology in 12 classes distributed across 7 Moments. Thus, seeking to foster the development of environmental awareness and scientific and technological literacy in seventh-grade students, the topics covered in the DS include electric field, image formation, color composition, chemistry of bee products, pollination, and angiosperms. The articulation between SDT, the STS approach, and the competencies and skills outlined in the BNCC in the proposed SD is achieved through contextualized activities and an interdisciplinary approach that aims to restructure the curriculum, highlighting interdisciplinarity and connecting everyday, technological, socio-environmental, and scientific issues. We hope that the proposed SD will encourage other educators to adopt the STS approach combined with SDT, fostering a deeper understanding and significant student performance in situations involving scientific, technological, and environmental relationships.
