The teaching of uniform rectilinear motion (MRU) has traditionally neglected the empiricism of the motion, since it is presented to high school students in a mathematical way, privileging the memorization of formulas and the construction of graphs. Thus, it is sought to integrate a digital technology with an experimental activity for the construction of the concepts that constitute the study of MRU, so that students can work both the empiricism of movement and the mathematical relations that describe it. This work presents a planned proposal, built based on the POE methodology (Predict-Observe-Explain) and applied to 1st-year high school students in a public school in Rio de Janeiro, using the video analysis software Tracker. The POE methodology promotes active learning in three stages: predicting the outcome of an event, observing and describing the phenomenon, and, if necessary, adjusting understanding in case of conflict between prediction and observation. The experiment is based on the analysis of a video of a car in rectilinear motion, recorded in natural light. The objectives of the experimental proposal include the identification of MRU as a displacement in a straight line with constant speed and the interpretation of data and graphs generated by Tracker to calculate the values of the average scalar and vector velocities and instantaneous and to construct the position time function of the movement. Data collection occurs through the observation of students' responses during the activity. From the analysis of these responses, it is observed, among other results, a favoring of critical and reflective learning, enabling an integration between the physical phenomenon and the construction of its mathematical functions, as well as stimulating a deeper and more applied understanding of the concepts of MRU.
