SISTEMAS POLIMÉRICOS DE LIBERAÇÃO MODULADA PARA TRATAMENTO DE DOENÇAS INFLAMATÓRIAS DA PELE ASSOCIADAS A DISTÚRBIOS NA MICROBIOTA

Afecções cutâneas como rosácea e acne vulgar, envolvem alterações na pele, incluindo textura, cor, pH e hidratação, e estão frequentemente ligadas a desequilíbrios na microbiota que afetam o tecido epitelial e conjuntivo. Essas condições se destacam por seus tratamentos complexos, longos e, muitas vezes, ineficazes, motivando pesquisas para encontrar alternativas mais eficientes. Nesse contexto, veículos poliméricos surgem como promissores sistemas de liberação de ativos para o tratamento dessas afecções. Este trabalho apresenta uma revisão da literatura sobre o uso desses sistemas, que têm mostrado resultados positivos, especialmente com microemulsões, nanopartículas e hidrogéis. Estes sistemas permitem uma liberação prolongada dos ativos, ampliando o efeito terapêutico através de uma entrega precisa e com dosagem adequada para o tecido alvo.
