ASSOCIATING POLYMERS AND NANOPARTICLES FOR WETTABILITY MODIFYING AGENTS’ PRODUCTION: A REVIEW
Associando polímeros e nanopartículas para produção de agentes modificadores de molhabilidade: Uma revisão

A crescente demanda por petróleo, impulsionada pelo aumento populacional, tem gerado um interesse crescente na área de pesquisa promovida pelo setor industrial, que busca métodos de recuperação avançada mais eficientes. Nesse cenário, os métodos químicos se destacam devido ao seu custo-benefício e à variedade de opções disponíveis. Entre essas opções, destaca-se a aplicação de agentes que podem restaurar a molhabilidade à água das rochas de reservatório, especialmente em campos maduros, com o objetivo de aumentar o fator de recuperação de óleo a longo prazo. Entre os agentes químicos utilizados, os polímeros são notáveis por sua eficácia na melhoria da eficiência de varrido, embora a aplicação desses compostos como modificadores de molhabilidade ainda seja limitada. O sinergismo entre polímeros e nanopartículas para essa finalidade tem mostrado resultados promissores e constitui o foco desta revisão.
