Vol. 2 No. 1 (2024): Second Edition

It is with great pleasure that we present, in 2024, the second issue of the Brazilian Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (BJAES), a journal headquartered at the Campus Pinheiral of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ). The journal aims to disseminate scientific production from teaching and research institutions that address topics related to agricultural production, environmental conservation, and environmental restoration.

In this issue, we present seven articles addressing the following themes: crop production, sustainability and health, applied entomology, innovation in water quality, as well as water supervision and monitoring in agriculture. We would like to thank everyone who supported, worked on, reviewed, and edited the articles published in this issue.

We invite readers to read and disseminate the articles, thereby valuing the authors’ continuous efforts in the pursuit of advancing science in Brazil.
